What It Means to Support Woman-to-Woman Booty Confidence Every Day

With a world constantly telling us how we need to improve our bodies, it's important that woman support and lift each other up.

Confidence as a woman isn’t born overnight. If anything, the world tries to strip it from us on a daily basis. And unfortunately, us women can be pretty tough on each other.

Self-esteem breeds confidence. Only we alone are in ultimate control of how we view our bodies, our personalities, our achievements. But (and that’s a BIG b-u-t), the world is constantly telling us all the ways we need to improve. We need better eyebrows and longer lashes, we need to try the latest health diet and buy all sorts of things to get a thinner waste line. This is what they tell us, right? Through these messages, maintaining a solid self-esteem isn’t the easiest task in life (a task we’re also supposed to have on lockdown).

That’s where woman-to-woman booty confidence makes a difference. Be kind to each other. Support each other. Be honest but not passive aggressive. Be encouraging of new ideas, new paths, new workout endeavors and healthy habits. And most of all, be supportive of every curve and type of beautiful body.

We must lift each other up when the world is discouraging us. We must see the power of women around us, collect it, and use it to our advantage when the world is trying to control us. We need to support woman-to-woman booty confidence every day.

Or as these amazing women have put it:

“We as women in particular — and this is such an important message — starting today, you all have to be supportive of each other. You can’t be jealous, and push and trip, you know? It’s hard enough. So in your lives now … be kind to each other. Support each other. There's room for everyone to succeed.” — Michelle Obama (first lady)
“We women are a lot more powerful if we see each other as fighters on the same side. But it’s easier to judge others — their choices and their bodies — than to think about the struggles we share.” — Crystal Renn (fashion model)
"We need women at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women's voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored." — Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook)
“The times may have changed, but the people are still the same. We’re still looking for love, and that will always be our struggle as human beings.” — Halle Berry (actress)

So take a moment in this new year and consider how you can help support and love the other amazing women around you.
